Frome Birth Talk was delighted to receive funding from the Somerset Freemasons to help support their work with families and parents across Frome.

Their donation totals £9,445 over three years and will help support drop-in groups and vital counselling sessions.

Rebecca Lloyd, head of Charity Grants, attended Frome Birth Talk's 'Bump to Baby' group in March to meet staff, volunteers and local parents, learning about the impact the service has on local parents and families.

Following a successful application to the grants programme, Frome Birth Talk were then delighted to welcome local Somerset Freemasons representatives to join them at their Toddler Group in June, which is held at Trinity Hall every Friday morning. Their donation will enable dozens of families each week to access a safe, warm space where children can play and parents can connect, as well as enjoy healthy family snacks and drinks.

"We're extremely pleased to have the support of the Somerset Freemasons", said Suzy Cristinacce, Director of Frome Birth Talk. "Our groups attract over 300 families a year, and our counsellors work with around 200 people to provide professional mental health support. This is going to make a huge impact in our community, and we look forward to seeing the results of this generous grant."
