Fundraise for Us and Make a Real Difference

Get involved

At Frome Birth Talk, we rely on the generosity of individuals, groups, and organisations to help support the mental health and wellbeing of new parents in our community. Your fundraising efforts can make a significant impact on the lives of mothers, families, and parents who need mental health support during some of the most challenging times in their lives.

Whether you are organising a one-off event, taking part in a sponsored activity, or launching a fundraising campaign, your support enables us to provide free professional counselling for mothers in crisis, run support groups for women dealing with baby loss, and offer vital postnatal depression support for families in Frome.

  • Counselling for parents and women struggling with postnatal depression.

  • Grief support for families who have experienced baby loss, including miscarriage and stillbirth.

  • Pregnancy and postnatal support groups that give women a safe space to share their experiences and receive emotional support.

  • Toddler groups and activities that help support early childhood development in a nurturing, community-focused environment.

  • Training for counsellors and volunteers to ensure that we continue to offer professional, high-quality services to our families.

How You Can Help

There are many ways to get involved and fundraise for our cause. Here are just a few ideas to get you started:

  • Sponsored Walks or Runs: Take part in a charity run or walk, or organise your own sponsored event.

  • Bake Sales & Coffee Mornings: Host a yummy bake sale or coffee morning to bring your community together in support of mental health. Because, who doesn’t love cake?

  • Charity Auctions or Raffles: Organise an auction or raffle to raise funds, and help promote local businesses in the process.

  • Sponsored Challenges: Take on a physical challenge, like a marathon, bike ride, or swim, to raise funds while pushing your limits.

  • Funny jumper days: Spread joy and awareness. A great idea for the office.

  • Online Fundraising Campaigns: Set up an online fundraising page to reach your friends, family, and colleagues for donations.

  • Charity Events: Host an event like a quiz night, concert, or dinner party where ticket sales go towards supporting our services.
