Together, we make a difference

Whether you're a parent, a healthcare professional, or someone passionate about supporting others, we would love to welcome you to our friendly and supportive team at Frome Birth Talk.

We’re on the lookout for volunteers to help us in a variety of ways, from supporting our friendly pregnancy and postnatal support groups to lending a hand at our toddler groups in Frome. Your skills, life experience, and kind heart can make a significant impact on the lives of new parents and families in Frome.

How you can help

  • Help with fundraising and event organisation to support new parents' mental health in Frome.

​

  • Provide much-needed companionship, help out with refreshments, or entertain little ones while parents take a well-deserved break.

Who can volunteer?

We’re looking for volunteers who are:

  • Recently retired individuals who want to share your time and life experience to support families navigating parenthood and early parenthood challenges.

​

  • Healthcare professionals or students in counselling, psychology, or social work, looking to gain practical experience in mental health and family support.

​

  • Mental health advocates passionate about supporting women’s mental health in Frome and helping women with postnatal depression or baby loss.

​

  • Community-minded individuals who want to help create a supportive space for new families in Frome.​​

​

  • Fundraisers and event organisers looking for opportunities to help raise vital funds for our mental health services in Frome.

​

  • Anyone passionate about supporting mothers and families – no special experience is required, just a warm and welcoming attitude!
