Frome Town Rotary Transforms Local Charity Workspace

Three local charities are celebrating a much‑needed makeover of their shared office, thanks to the generous support and hard work of Frome Town Rotary.

Since January Frome Birth Talk has shared an office at the Key Centre with other local charities Purple Elephant and The Pod. Despite being a great resource to all three groups, the office was tired and in need of a makeover.

Early in July, a team from Frome Town Rotary stepped in to help and delivered a remarkable transformation.

Led by Rotary member Gary, a group of enthusiastic volunteers spent the day filling holes, removing old shelving, refreshing the flooring, and bringing new colour and energy into the room.

“We are absolutely thrilled,” said Lucy Hill, Operations Manager at Frome Birth Talk. “We’ve been very lucky as small organisations to be given this space to work from – but admittedly it was looking a bit dreary and sad. The Rotary team whizzed through the space and gave it a complete facelift. Their generosity and enthusiasm have made a huge difference to our working environment. It’s a lovely space to sit in now!”

The refreshed office will support Frome Birth Talk's work as they continue providing essential mental health support to families in Frome.
